Troublesome Tube Strike = Bus Solutions

If like me, you are trying to get in and out of work, get to press days, Fashion Press Week, or simply ‘touristing’ it about in London town, you will have realised how hard it can be to navigate without a working tube system. I prefer buses anyway, but as I am going to places unknown to me today, I found this Quickmap service very helpful. I am loathe to use the TFL website, but this one is actually easier to use with moving bus route numbers that show you exactly where buses go to and from mainline stations! NB. The buses are likely to be fairly busy, but at least you’ll be on the move.

It's weird, every time there's a tube strike I end up getting to work earlier, even though I leave my house the same time! The northern line is no longer the 'misery line'! Good to have this map though xoxo
