London 1944, Red Pepper, Cashmere scarf, £250
If ever there was a company that represented ‘quality over quantity’, I’m pretty sure Ascher scarves would be it. Ascher don’t particularly work with trends, preferring instead to refer to their strong heritage and reams of pattern and material archives.
Papier Dechire, Blue Silk, £150
Trellis, Designed by Graham Sutherland, Cashmere, £250
Some of these scarves are more than sixty years old, printed and lovingly looked after, and awaiting a loving owner. I must say, that amongst so much throw away fashion this is all rather exciting. I couldn’t wait to see the designs, and they didn’t disappoint. This is the first collection from the company in thirty years. They ooze quality and attention to detail and are quite simply, beautiful.
My favourite: Pink Rose Pom Pom, £150
